5/24-25 — Yellowfin Limit, Mako, Tiles!

We fished Thursday into Friday and were back at the dock in time for breakfast.

Started off deep dropping for tiles and drop and reel action with fish up to 22 pounds.

We got on the troll and quickly put a couple 30 pound yellowfins in the boat. Had a few more shots on them before the sun went down and went 4 for 4, 3 for 4, and 3 for 4 to end with our limit of 12 yellowfins. We also picked up a couple gaffer dolphin..

We set up sharking and had action right off the bat. Blue sharks followed us for hours and then we tangled with the right one. After a short fight and a couple jumps we threw the harpoon at a 73″ mako.

Didn’t stick around for the morning troll but would have loved to know what kind action we would have had

5/23 — Slow Stripers, Outstanding Sea Bass!!

We were out this morning and continued to see slow striped bass fishing so we decided to move out to some wrecks to try our luck at seabassing.

What a great decision it turned out to be as we quickly loaded the boat with 92 keeper sea bass to 22 inches!

5/14 — Livelining Bite!

We started off slow today but things really turned on mid-morning.

Managed to land a limit of bass between 24-42 pounds and pulled the hook on 5 or 6 more.

Seems like the fish want to get this bunker bite going!!

5/12 — Trophy Bass!

We had the Azzato charter out Saturday and had some great bass on the troll.

We managed quite a few bites but ended up losing a few more than normal due to their size. All 5 fish we landed were over 46 inches with the biggest going about 43 pounds!!
